Whether I’m working with an actor, a model, a CEO or someone who’s never been in front of a camera before, I’m interested in the person.
Sometimes the job is beautiful skin and polished makeup. Sometimes it’s sweat, tired eyes, lived-in hair or making it look like absolutely nothing has been done at all.

Over a decade in high-end television drama and film taught me that hair and makeup should serve the character and not distract from it. If you notice the makeup before the character, I haven’t done my job.
I love digging into a characters backstory. The faded scar. The old tattoo. The tiny details that quietly sell the story to the audience.
